Olla workshop (pronounced Oy-yah)
Olla is an ancient, water saving irrigation technique that is very suitable for growing plants in Perth’s hot, dry climate. Permaculture guru, Bill Mollison commented that the technique might be, to paraphrase, “the most efficient irrigation system in the world.” 
Come along and learn about the principles of using Olla’s to help grow plants more sustainably and then make an Olla to take home.
 
This workshop has strictly limited places

Peter Coppin Workshop: Summer maintenance of fruit trees and edible landscapes

Peter Coppin is a consulting horticulturalist and tree specialist, who is dedicated to promoting sustainable practices and healthy landscapes. Peter travels around WA teaching and empowering people to grow their own edible landscapes successfully.

Come along and enjoy learning the art of pruning and fertilizing your fruit trees so you get the most from your fruit crop. have your questions ready for a brief Q & A session.

Please bring hat, water, umbrella for shade and your own mug for morning tea which will be provided after the presentation.
Free for current KCG members
Non member: $5 per person
